Dry Season in Thailand

Growing grass in the dry season....

Water, water, water, water, water, water, water, water, water, water, water, water, water, water...

So, this is what it looks like on Tuesday after
watering it three times on Saturday then going away on Sunday and Monday.  You can see where the newer tree got extra watering over the last two weeks; it's flourishing!  Even the tree in the upper left hand corner got some extra watering, but the grass really did get watered every day, and on Saturday, three times~

In my last post, I left a statement from a fellow gardener about watering day and night to his dismay of the grass still dying off.   I can surely say that it all makes me want to just shake my head in disbelief and throw my hands in the air because what else can a gardener do?  Believe me, my water bills prove how much I've watered... and to top it off, the grass has gotten just as much as the new tree did!

Below, you will see the same section of grass but looking at it from the right side of the tree.

This was only a week before I watered it three times on Saturday.  I really only watered it so much because I knew I'd be gone for two days, but heck... didn't matter!  It actually rained twice last week~ what can I say?

Sure looks green enough, but when you look underneath, it's always dry looking.  This is the way it is all the time when you still water it day and night.
