It might seem easy, but....
After chopping up the ground and pulling a few weeds, many times, I started a new method of getting rid of the growing weeds. You can see the weeds I completely pulled once already along the wall prevailed and came back in full swing.
A new table was delivered with this frame of boards holding the top of it, so it seemed like it might come in handy. Hence, the new gardening tool. By laying black garbage bags right on top of the weeds, I placed the frame on top to hold it down along with a few rocks and plants I had already purchased. In one to two weeks’ time, there was nothing left of the weeds (or roots). You can see the dirt is clean where I had tried this method out twice already.
Making progress always keeps a gardener striving for improvement. Once I got going on this method and was happy it was working, my neighbor and friend decided it was time to lay grass down...

I would imagine that an environment like Thailand really encourages plants to grow like crazy! I had a small tiered garden at an old apartment of mine and i loved it. Working in a garden is so relaxing and rewarding. Until you find a snake. I nope right out of there. lol
ReplyDeleteHahaha Honestly, haven't found any snakes yet, but Thais are really afraid of them, probably for good reason! I think old growth in Thailand grows beautifully, but the soil for new planting is not accommodating. I put down some bagged topsoil and it looks like it fried my favorite bushes~ Unhappy!
